RAJA AMPAT
Raja Ampat is a remote paradise of over 1,500 islands, famed for hosting 75% of the world’s coral species and more than 1,300 types of reef fish - earning it the title “Amazon of the ocean.” Pacific swells create perfect waves suitable for all levels - yours to chase with just family and friends against a backdrop of jungle-covered mountains. Crowds are virtually non-existent which in this day and age, is almost impossible to find. Surf season in this region is December through March. Definitely a bucket list trip.
SUMBA
Sumba is the “forgotten” island of Indonesia. The Kudanil Explorer is the perfect vessel for this expedition. Only until recently has this remote island been talked about in travellers circles. Sumba consists of numerous, consistent waves in stunning bays. There are waves here for all levels. An excursion on shore enables you to explore this ancient culture and its unique customs. Prime surfing time here is from April til June.
MENTAWAI
The Mentawai islands are located off the west coast of Sumatra, and are open to the swells of the Indian Ocean. This island chain is globally renowned for it’s surf - but rather than simply ticking off the famous breaks, we’re crafting a journey shaped by intention, local knowledge, and the ever-changing conditions of Indonesia’s wave-rich coast. Trips usually take place between June to September. There are waves here for all levels.
